So somebody last night deleted our online journal. Completely. I woke up to finding an email notifying and confirming it. At least I have a very recent backup. I think we have enough inside fighting to keep that protected.
We are having a very hard time right now. A lot of internal struggles and in a way, a war inside. This day is a very hard one for us. There’s tons of stuff stirred up and lots of insiders triggering each other. So it is chaos in a way. And yet there is this layer of a mask that presents as though things are the same as always. But it is not like that at all. It is taking everything out of us to keep that mask there. We have to keep it in place due to commitments and responsibility to our nephew for his birthday today as well. Plus for our own sanity we need to get through things today.
I really thought things would be better once this day was over with. It almost seems like it is the beginning of some very serious and difficult internal work with dealing with past stuff that impedes greatly on our present.
I apologize for the deletion of so many posts and everyone’s comments, etc. They will be returned to this journal in their original form. We need a little bit of time to deal with things internally before this happens.
So today is my birthday. It is also Friday the 13th. It also is a number of other things to us. That is actually a pun in a way, since the number of other things, actually does relate to numbers and their significance.
It is our nephew’s birthday today as well. He is 9 years old. My brother has Noah for this weekend and so we will be visiting with Noah and family this weekend.
We would like to spend more time on our journal, but we have a ton of things to do today to prepare for Noah’s birthday celebration this evening.

Thank you Keepers for the Birthday greeting. Our support group gave us a Birthday party with a cake and the family did a little bit for us yesterday.

I'd have freaked to find it gone but you did well in backing it up. I do that as well so that if for some reason my journal gets erased I still have a backup. It must have been frightening to see all your hard work gone but being the smart chick you are you had a back up. Very cool.Austin

Hi Austin! Yes, I did freak, but I was so grateful that I've been backing up our journal regularly. I had a really nice plug-in for that. I am beginning to understand more about why it happened, though I only know a little bit. It is very unusual for our system because our journals mean a lot to us. It just would be the last thing I would expect to happen. I'm just so so so glad for the back-up. So far we've been able to keep it secured and safe.
Also, I'm glad you're keeping a regular backup of your journal too! Cheers to smart chicks! ;-)
