A person has to be well qualified to treat Borderline Personality Disorder traits. Not just anyone can treat it. The fault was neither yours nor hers. The match for treatment wasn't therapeutically healthy. From what I know about Wendy she had really good skills in other areas but her ability to treat BPD long term wasn't something she was qualified to do. Many BPD's wear out the therapist, not because we mean to or because we're bad. Heck, most times we dont' recognize the behaviors because even the therapist doesn't point out what they are. They usually just tell get frustrated but they don't say, hey, this is BPD behavior and this is what your disorder is, this is how BPD happens and this is what can happen when we are able to heal the need for these behaviors. A therapist has to be qualified to treat BPD, if they are not they get worn out....but not as worn out as the person with BPD traits. We need qualified treatment because the cause of BPD traits are deeply rooted and require skill and dedication. Not just any therapist or anyone capable of treating DID or PTSD can treat BPD.

we also have found drawings from years ago and writing and pictures and yep we were far more insightful then than now, but in saying that we also more aware now of us than we were before, dont look always at how far you havent come look at how far you have, growth is relative and if we did all our growing at once it would be too painful, imagine being ten and growing a body of a twenty year old in two days ouch
